MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation has added a new right angle drill to the V28 Li-Ion cordless tool system. Powered by Milwaukee’s exclusive V™ technology, the 0721-21 drill is designed to provide powerful, versatile drilling for professional tradesmen across the entire jobsite.
With a high-powered 28-volt motor, the V28 right angle drill is ideal for plumbers and electricians tasked with running pipe and wire through studs or joists, or boring large holes in floor joist or roofing for installing ventilation. The 90-degree head rotates 360 degrees to allow for easy drilling in even the tightest spots, and users can select 0-400 or 0-1000 rpm speeds to match the appropriate bit speed to the job at hand.
“This drill was designed to deliver power and precision even in the most awkward angles," says John Sara, senior product manager for Milwaukee. “Additionally, this new Li-Ion model increases productivity by providing fade-free power and more than twice the run-time than an 18V Ni-Cd model. Tradesman can rely on the power and versatility of this drill to handle almost any job."
Additional features include a speed control switch for controlled starts, and a convenient forward/reverse lever located on the handle for quick access.
Performance Breakdown: Number of Holes at Low Speed Setting

1-1/2" Flat Auger Bit—145 Holes
1-1/2" Ship Auger Bit—80 Holes
2-9/16" Selfeed Bit—55 Holes
About V™ Technology
Milwaukee recently announced a new limited warranty for all of its V™ technology Lithium-Ion batteries, extending coverage for up to 2,000 charge cycles or five (5) years from the date of purchase/first charge.
V™ technology is an exclusive integration of chemistry, cell design and circuitry, charging system and tool design have all been optimized to create a superior Lithium-Ion battery solution. Milwaukee’s Li-Ion batteries feature lithium manganese chemistry, which has been field proven to be the most powerful and practical for professional power tool applications on the market today. This technology was developed by Milwaukee in partnership with a leading global battery company to produce the first heavy duty Li-Ion battery for use in high amp draw applications.
The award-winning V™ technology platform is available in an expanding range of voltages and products for professionals seeking fade-free power, longer runtimes and equal or less weight than 18V NiCad battery powered tools. Due to a patent-pending performance-optimizing circuit, V™ technology batteries are able to operate at peak performance under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures and withstand battery heating due to heavy use. In addition, Milwaukee’s Li-Ion batteries are the first to feature a built-in fuel gauge so users always know how much run time is available without needing to place it on a charger.
