Milwaukee® Introduces New M12 Cordless Clamp-Gun™ Clamp Meter
Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation expands its LITHIUM-ION system with the new M12 Cordless Clamp-Gun™ Clamp Meter. With end-user applications in mind, two models were designed with complete feature sets, specifically tailored to the Electrician and HVAC/R Technician.
"The power of LITHIUM-ION technology on a tool that is traditionally powered by alkaline batteries, gave us endless opportunity for innovation," says Jonathan Morrow, Director Marketing Product Management-Test & Measurement for Milwaukee Electric Tool Company. "With the added power of LITHIUM-ION, we were able to include a large high contrast white on black display and extra bright LED flood lights to increase end user productivity."
In addition, the M12 Cordless Clamp-Gun™ Clamp Meters were designed with a unique ergonomic pistol grip design. The improvement greatly increases comfort and ease-of -use in overhead applications by aligning the jaws and display to the user's line of sight. The units also provide a wide 1.57” jaw opening to easily handle wire bundles, a thin jaw profile for access to tight spaces and embedded non-contact voltage detection.
With the introduction of the new Clamp-Gun™ Clamp Meters and plans to grow the M12 cordless platform in 2009, Milwaukee® continues its growth as the industry leader in the sub-compact category. The M12 platform offers innovative solutions in power, speed, and portability.
