MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces SwitchBlade™ selfeed bits, a new solution designed to ensure that contractors maintain a sharp blade and maximize productivity. A replaceable blade system allows the bit to cut like new again and eliminates the costly need to resharpen. Each bit comes standard with a second replacement blade, which assures up to twice the life of an existing self feed bit. Available in the sizes that plumbers, HVAC contractors and electricians use most frequently, SwitchBlade selfeed bits are used for drilling multiple holes in all types of wood for various types of pipe, vent and gas lines and bulk wire routing.
SwitchBlade selfeed bits are made of investment cast high alloy steel, designed to hold sharp cutting edges longer and a newly designed aggressive feed screw provides 12% faster cutting than a standard self feed bit. A thick, heavy-duty shank with quick-change hex ensures a secure chuck grip.
SwitchBlade selfeed bits are available in multiple sizes ranging from 1-3/8" to 2-9/16". Additional accessories include the 3 blade replacement kit and 10 blade replacement kit, which are both offered in five sizes and include replacement blades, set screws and a hex wrench. Also available is a 5pc set which includes (4) SwitchBlade bits, additional replacement blades, removable storage case and the 7/16" Quik-Lok™ Extension.
