MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool is excited to announce the introduction of its next generation line of Aviation Snips. Designed to address common user frustrations, the new line of Aviation Snips features the best-in-class blade performance users have come to expect from the widely popular offering, with the added benefits of improved ergonomics, handles, and locks. “For our users even the smallest details can make the biggest difference to their productivity, which is why we’ve made a number of improvements to our Aviation Snips to provide an even better experience,” said Derek Rose, Product Manager for Milwaukee Tool. “Our new Aviation Snips build off the success of our snips line and set the bar even higher by enhancing the overall ergonomics of the handles and improving the lock for added ease of use. Even better, we’ve been able to accomplish all this without sacrificing the incredible durability and cut performance our users have come to know and trust.”
Backed by Milwaukee’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, each of the new tools is made with forged blades and chrome plating for maximum rust protection, tool strength, and durability. Forged blades provide up to 10X more cuts than other leading blades on the market. True to the Milwaukee® ‘Nothing but Heavy Duty’ promise, a newly enhanced bolt lock ensures the blades won’t loosen and can stand up to the demands of the jobsite. For more security during storage and easier opening, a one-handed metal lock allows the user to open and close the snips with one hand. Thumb and forefinger resting points allow the user more control to push through sheet metal with ease. For added utility, the cutter heads feature flush bolts to prevent the tool from getting hung up on sheet metal while cutting and the handles feature lanyard holes for easy tethering.
Milwaukee Tool brings a new approach to Hand Tools, paying attention to the little details that make a big difference. Since Milwaukee first launched its Hand Tools expansion in 2012, they’ve developed more than 500 application-specific solutions for the trades. The introduction of the new snips is a testament to their continued commitment to best-in-class durability and developing Hand Tool solutions professionals truly want and need to perform their job productively.
