MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation recently introduced the 0756-22 V28 Cordless 1" Compact SDS Rotary Hammer, designed to provide professional and industrial contractors with corded rotary hammer power and versatility in a compact, lightweight package.
Powered by Milwaukee’s V28 Lithium-Ion technology, the 0756-22 provides consistent, fade free power and superior run time, making it an ideal solution for electrical, mechanical, pipe fitter and plumbing trades. With three modes of operation – rotary hammer, drill only and chipping –contractors can use the tool for concrete drilling, wood and steel drilling and light chiseling applications. A large mode selector switch makes it easy to switch the tool into the desired mode and a chisel adjustment mode also allows the user to adjust the chisel bit to the work piece to maintain a comfortable tool orientation when chipping.
Milwaukee designed the 0756-22 to be a compact, lightweight, and highly ergonomic rotary hammer. It’s compact L-shape design positions the operator’s hand directly behind the drill bit for optimal balance and the non-slip soft grip handle helps to reduce vibration and fatigue. With a length of only 12" inches and a total weight of 9.6 lbs (including a V28 battery) contractors can easily access tight areas and control the tool even in extended drilling applications. The large two-finger variable speed trigger ensures smooth, accurate starts and comfortable drilling. Contractors that frequently drill overhead and work on lifts, scaffolds and ladders will enjoy the tool’s compact well balanced design and the built-in battery fuel gauge on V28 batteries that allows them to check how much run time is left in the battery before climbing up to the work area.
The 0756-22 hits hard and drills fast with a high-powered 28-volt, reversible motor that delivers 4,700 BPM and 2.1 ft.-lbs. of impact energy. The all metal, magnesium gear case and block construction provide precise bearing and gear seating for long term reliability. The Rotary Hammer has a 1" solid bit drilling capacity in concrete and an optimal concrete drilling range of 3/16" to ¾".
The 0756-22 - V28 1" SDS Compact Rotary Hammer Kit includes two V28 batteries with a built-in fuel gauge, a 1-hour charger with pass-through plug, side handle, depth gauge and heavy duty case. Also available is the 0756-20 - V28 1" SDS Compact Rotary Hammer bare tool for contractors that want to add the rotary hammer to their current V28 cordless lineup.

About V™ Technology
Milwaukee recently announced a new limited warranty for all of its V™ technology Lithium-Ion batteries (both the V28 and V18 lines), extending coverage for up to 2,000 charge cycles or five years from the date of purchase/first charge.
V™ technology is an exclusive integration of chemistry, cell design and circuitry, charging system and tool design have all been optimized to create a superior Lithium-Ion battery solution. Milwaukee’s Li-Ion batteries feature lithium manganese chemistry, which has been field proven to be the most powerful and practical for professional power tool applications on the market today. This technology was developed by Milwaukee in partnership with a leading global battery company to produce the first heavy duty Li-Ion battery for use in high amp draw applications.
The award-winning V™ technology platform is available in an expanding range of voltages and products for professionals seeking fade-free power, longer runtimes and equal or less weight than 18V NiCad battery powered tools. Due to a patent-pending performance-optimizing circuit, V™ technology batteries are able to operate at peak performance under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures and withstand battery heating due to heavy use. In addition, Milwaukee’s Li-Ion batteries are the first to feature a built-in fuel gauge so users always know how much run time is available without needing to place it on a charger.
