Expanding its award-winning line of lithium-ion powered cordless tools and accessories, Milwaukee Electric Tool introduces a new 18-volt Compact Drill/Driver that is lightweight and powerful enough to handle a variety of applications including electrical work, light assembly, installation and finish carpentry. With a 1.4 Ah, 18-volt lithium-ion battery, the 2601-22 delivers the speed (0-1,400 RPM) and power (400-in/lbs. of torque) needed for drilling holes and driving screws faster. Milwaukee’s patented power management system and exclusive lithium-ion manganese battery chemistry provide fade-free power until the end of charge. At only 4.0 pounds, this tool provides a compact, lightweight solution without sacrificing features or durability. A two-speed magnesium gearbox, 22-position clutch setting, and a ratcheting chuck provide the versatility and control that professionals demand. Additionally, the 2601-22 offers a soft-grip trigger for increased comfort and control, a built-in LED light for added visibility and a built-in battery fuel gauge to display remaining run-time and eliminate guesswork. “As the leaders in lithium-ion technology for cordless tools, Milwaukee is able to offer the heavy-duty power and features that professional users expect in our most compact and lightweight 18-volt package to date," says Rick Gray, Director of Cordless Tools. “After putting the 2601-22 to the test, we’re confident our customers will agree that the run-time, durability and overall performance is unmatched."
